What makes a clean "deep"

A standard clean handles what you touch and see every day — counters, floors, bathrooms, surfaces. It is judged by how the home feels when you walk in, and done regularly it keeps a house genuinely comfortable.

What it does not do is work backwards through everything that accumulated before you started. Dust does not sit politely on surfaces; it settles into baseboards, along door frames, on top of blinds and fan blades, into shower grout and bathroom vents. None of that shows in a photograph. All of it shows when you finally look at it.

A deep clean is the visit that goes and gets it. It is slower, more thorough, and mostly spent on things you have not cleaned in a while — which is why it is the right first visit for a home that has not been professionally cleaned in a while, and the right periodic reset for one that has.

What's included

Everything in our standard clean, plus:

Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator are add-ons at $45 each on a deep clean — they are included as standard only on our move out clean. Interior windows are $75.

When a deep clean is worth it

Before starting a recurring schedule

The most common reason, and the one we recommend most often. If a home has six months or more of accumulation, recurring standard visits will spend their whole time on maintenance and never get to the backlog. One deep clean clears it; the standard visits then hold the line. Over a year this is usually cheaper than paying for standard cleans that never quite catch up.

Seasonally, especially here

The Inland Empire is hard on interiors. Long dry stretches, Santa Ana winds, and homes that run air conditioning for much of the year mean dust moves constantly and settles everywhere — vents, blinds, fan blades and window tracks fill faster in this valley than they do closer to the coast. Once or twice a year is right for most homes on a regular schedule; quarterly is reasonable for homes with pets or in the dustier parts of the valley.

Before or after specific events

Ahead of hosting, after a renovation (construction dust travels far further than people expect), at the end of allergy season, or before listing a house. Short-term rental hosts typically book one quarterly between bookings, since turnovers keep a property presentable but are not the moment to be degreasing an oven.

What it costs

The Deep Clean starts at $205 for a home under 1,000 sq ft, priced by square footage from there. It is a flat rate confirmed before we start — meaningful on a deep clean specifically, because hourly pricing puts you and the cleaner on opposite sides of how long the job takes.

Homes over 3,500 sq ft get a custom quote.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a deep clean and a standard clean?

A standard clean maintains what you use daily. A deep clean adds the accumulated work underneath it — baseboards, door frames, switch plates, grout, vents, blinds, sills and tracks, fixtures and appliance detail. It takes considerably longer and is priced accordingly.

How often should a home be deep cleaned?

Once or twice a year for a home on a regular schedule. Quarterly for homes without regular cleaning, homes with pets, or homes in the dustier parts of the valley.

How long does it take?

Several hours, scaling with square footage. Since we charge flat rates rather than hourly, the time it takes doesn't change your price.

Does it include inside the oven and refrigerator?

Inside the microwave and appliance fronts are included. Inside the oven and refrigerator are $45 each as add-ons — they're standard only on the move out clean.

Should my first clean be a deep clean?

If it's been roughly six months or more since a professional clean, usually yes. If the home is already in good shape, a standard clean is enough — we'll tell you honestly rather than upsell.

Do you clean carpets or exterior windows?

No — neither is a service we offer. Interior windows are an add-on; carpet shampooing and exterior window washing need specialists, and we'd rather say so than take the booking.
